Order if there is no header: name, price, code, reference, old price, copies. With a header row (name, price, code, ref…) the columns are recognized automatically. A single column = codes only.

The logo is processed right here and is not uploaded anywhere. Use a simple image: fine details are lost on small labels.
Your product lists, prices and logos are never uploaded to any server. The PDF, PNG, SVG and ZIP are created on your own device. So you don't lose your work, a copy is kept only in this browser (you can delete it with “Clear all”).
Preconfigured sheet models
The tool includes the measurements of the most common Avery sheets in A4 and Letter. When you pick a model, the label size, columns, rows, margins and gaps fill in by themselves. Press “Use” to load a model into the tool.

If your reference isn't listed
Choose “Custom grid (own measurements)” and enter the label width and height, the left and top margin, the horizontal and vertical gap, and the number of rows and columns. The data is usually printed on the sheet packaging or on the manufacturer's website. Many brands (Herma, Apli, Zweckform, office-supply store brands…) make sheets with the same measurements as Avery's: compare width, height and labels per sheet.
Calibrate your printer in 3 steps
- Download the Test sheet (outlines only and a 100 mm ruler) and print it on plain paper at 100%.
- Check with a ruler that the line measures 100 mm and hold it up to the light against your adhesive sheet.
- If everything is shifted the same amount, fix it with the horizontal and vertical fine adjustment in millimetres, and test again.
Printing margins
Almost every printer leaves an unprinted margin of 3 to 5 mm. Borderless models, such as the Avery Zweckform 3474, need a printer that can print to the edge, or label content that stays away from the edge (which is why the design keeps an inner margin). If you notice clipping, try a model that leaves margins on the sheet.
A4 or Letter
Avery Zweckform models and the L7xxx series are for A4 paper; the 5160, 5161, 5162 and 5163 are for Letter paper, the standard in the US and Canada. If you pick a paper different from the model's, the tool warns you that the labels won't match the cells.
Frequently asked questions
Why do my labels come out misaligned when I print?
Almost always because of scaling: if the print dialog fits the PDF to the page, everything shrinks a little. Print with “Actual size” or “Scale 100%” and, if there is still a constant shift, use the fine adjustment in millimetres.
Which Avery model should I choose for EAN-13 or UPC-A labels?
The 63.5 × 38.1 mm (L7160), 70 × 37 mm (Avery Zweckform 3474) and 101.6 × 50.8 mm (Avery 5163) formats leave room for a name, a price and a readable barcode. On smaller labels the tool will warn you if the bars end up too thin.
Can I use sheets from other brands?
Yes, if they have the same measurements. Compare the label size, rows and columns and, if they differ, use the custom grid with your sheet's data.
Does it work for Letter paper?
Yes. You can choose Letter in step 3 and the Avery 5160, 5161, 5162 and 5163 models are included, plus the custom grid.
