The 5160 is the classic address-label sheet on Letter paper (8.5 × 11 in, 215.9 × 279.4 mm): 30 labels of 66.7 × 25.4 mm (2⅝ × 1 in), in 3 columns by 10 rows. It is the everyday choice in the United States and Canada, where Letter paper is used instead of A4.

Measured with this same tool and its sample template for this sheet; the result with your text and your code may vary a little. “Module” is the width of the thinnest bar; the recommended one is 0.33 mm for EAN-13 and 0.25 mm for Code 128.
When printing this sheet
Remember to choose Letter paper in step 3: the 5160 is not for A4. The label is elongated (25.4 mm tall), so the bars can't be very tall: that is why this page's template uses Code 128, which makes better use of that shape. If you need a retail UPC-A or EAN-13, consider a taller sheet, such as the 5162 or 5163. The tool calculates the real size of the bars and warns you if they end up small.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 5160 template work for A4 paper?
No: the 5160 is for Letter paper. If you use A4, choose an A4 model such as the Avery Zweckform 3474 or the L7160. In the tool you can change the paper in step 3.
Which countries use Letter paper?
It is the standard paper in the United States, Canada and much of Latin America (Mexico, among other countries). Check the size your printer uses.
Which barcode fits on a 5160 label?
At 25.4 mm tall the most comfortable choice is a Code 128 (a 0.21 mm module and about 19 mm of bar height, with no legibility warnings) or a QR of about 17 mm. A UPC-A or EAN-13 comes out with a module of about 0.25 mm, below the recommended value (0.33 mm): the tool flags it as doubtful to scan.
What are the measurements in inches?
Each label is 2⅝ × 1 in (66.675 × 25.4 mm), with a top margin of 0.5 in (12.7 mm) and a gap of 0.125 in between columns.
