Measured with this same tool and its sample template for this sheet; the result with your text and your code may vary a little. “Module” is the width of the thinnest bar; the recommended one is 0.33 mm for EAN-13 and 0.25 mm for Code 128.
When printing this sheet
It leaves 4.5 mm at the top and bottom and about 7.2 mm at the sides, with 2.54 mm between columns. The 4.5 mm vertical margin is small: some printers will clip the first and last rows, so do the Test sheet first. At this height a QR reaches almost 58 mm on a side and an EAN-13 has 42 mm bars, more than enough.

Frequently asked questions
Which barcode fits on an L7164 label?
All of them with lots of room: an EAN-13 with bars 42 mm tall, a Code 128 with a 0.38 mm module and a QR of about 58 mm on a side.
Does it work for shipping labels?
For small parcels and envelopes, yes. If your carrier asks for 100 × 150 mm, you need a larger sheet or a thermal roll of that size.
Does it clip at the top or bottom?
It can, because the margin is about 4.5 mm. Print the Test sheet and, if it clips, increase the inner margin or use the vertical fine adjustment.
Is the L7164 the same as the J8164?
The J8164 (for inkjet) usually shares the 3 × 4 label grid; check the measurements on your packaging.
