Measured with this same tool and its sample template for this sheet; the result with your text and your code may vary a little. “Module” is the width of the thinnest bar; the recommended one is 0.33 mm for EAN-13 and 0.25 mm for Code 128.
When printing this sheet
It leaves about 7.2 mm at the sides and 8.7 mm at the top and bottom. With a name, price and reference, an EAN-13 comes out with bars about 24.5 mm tall and a 0.51 mm module: well above the recommended values. If your design carries lots of text, it is the three-column L7xxx that handles it best without shrinking the type.

Which barcode fits on an L7161 label?
Any of them with room to spare: an EAN-13 with a 0.51 mm module and bars 24.5 mm tall with a name and price (38 mm without text), a Code 128 (0.38 mm) or a QR of about 33 mm.
Which do I choose, L7160 or L7161?
The L7160 (21 labels, 38.1 mm tall) gives more per sheet; the L7161 (18 labels, 46.6 mm) allows more text and taller bars.
Does the J8161 work?
The J8161 (inkjet) usually uses the same 3 × 6 grid, but verify the measurements on your packaging before printing.
Do I need a special printer?
No. The sheet margins are comfortable and it prints well on any office printer; print at 100%.
